Theoretical Approach to Predicting the Diffusion Radius of Fracture Grouting in Soil–Rock Mixtures

Previously conducted studies have established that the soil–rock mixture in Chongqing area has characteristics of loose structure, poor stability, strong permeability, and so on. When building a tunnel stratum, it is necessary to reinforce surface rock mass surrounding by grouting improve safety excavation. To study diffusion mechanism cement slurry (Bingham fluid) mixtures, based on Bingham fluid flow equation model, fracture formula was derived, field tests indoor model were carried out with mixtures as research object. The verified analyzed using test data. results show theoretical calculation various working conditions are close actual (the error less than 3%, 5%). A been developed applies good prediction effect value radius.
